My name is Dan Lovejoy. I'm a UI/UX architect for Oklahoma's largest utility company. I built this site while I was looking for a job.
UI/UX Design and Architecture
In pioneering my role at OG&E, I've built UI and web standards, UI architecture documents, written requirements, use cases, and working prototypes. I'm also charged with evangelizing for excellent user experiences.
Web/Interactive Project Management
I have more than 10 years' experience managing web and email marketing projects. I work equally well with developers, designers, vendors, and managers. Not only have I managed custom projects, I've worked with external vendors to implement enterprise-level analytics, sales & support chat systems, and content management systems.
But my experience isn't limited to implementation and project management. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I've built hand-coded landing pages, CMS templates built, and HTML email templates. I can take these projects from mock-ups to deployment, then test and iterate.
My web experience isn't limited to simple brochureware. I've implemented content management systems that host thousands of pages across multiple domains. I'm a skilled editor and writer with sky-high standards.
Improving Systems; Saving Time and Money
I'm great at listening to clients and working with developers. At my previous employer, I automated email creation systems, saving hundreds of staff-hours. I've converted many spreadsheets from "data dumps" into actionable information and improved many other systems like these. And I've got the education to back up my experience. I hold a Master's Degree in Technical Communication for Texas Tech University.
But wait, there's more...
There's a lot more about me on this site. (See the links to the left, under the eyeglasses) I'm a skilled trainer and presenter. I know my way around multimedia tools, and I'm an excellent writer. (You're still reading, right?)
Sincerely,
Dan Lovejoy
P.S. Don't take my word for it. Read what former colleagues have to say about me.
